Dale’s interest in motorcycling peaked at a young age when he first experienced the sights, sounds, speed of motorcycles. At the age of 18 in 1969, he bought his first motorcycle and has been riding ever since. Dale appreciates motorcycles of all years and brands, recognizing that each offers unique features and characteristics, with a special interest in Classic, Vintage and Antique motorcycles. 

His passion for motorcycling inspired him to organize a motorcycle gathering, where riders would come together to share their enthusiasm. In 2013, Dale and his son Eric, co-founded and held the first gathering called “Bikes & Breakfast” at the 9W Market in Palisades, NY. They were thrilled with the turn-out. Now, 8 years later they are proud that Bikes & Breakfast has grown with eight locations in NY, VA, MD and PA and one international location in the Philippines.

Dale and his wife Nina live in a historic home in the beautiful Hudson Valley New York. Since his retirement from banking, Dale has more time to spend with his wife Nina, his children Ann and Eric and his wife Keri and of course motorcycles.
